ABOUT ME

How do you sum it up?!?

We are a couple who is madly in love w/ each other, hard-working yet underpaid, straddling the fence of being responsible & just wanting to live a little (responsible usually wins), who is just grasping @ our dream of seeing what little bit of the world we can and experiencing everything we can along the way.

A little about Jessica...she has a huge heart, is caring, compassionate, quirky @ times, loves to laugh, loves God, adores her family & friends, and desperately wants to complete her bucket list before it's too late. She's very intentional: making out goals for each year such as projects she wants to complete, places she wants to go, things she wants to do w/ friends, etc. She's definitely a planner and always has a list of places to hit when we are on the road.

A little about Jon... he is a graphic designer for an apparel company designing hats. He is super laid-back, always there for a friend, honest & hard-working, laughs at just about everything, would rather be trout fishing than anything else, loves his family more than himself, loves God, and loves to grill any time of the year. He loves to cook w/ his specialty being breakfast every Saturday: fried eggs, bacon, & hashbrowns.

We love the little things in life: a waterfall @ the end of a hike, watching our dog run in circles in the backyard, a good movie, dinner w/ friends etc. We prefer casual, low-key gatherings with friends & family. We treat others as we would like to be treated, so of course, we would always be respectful of the people (& their homes) that we stay with while couchsurfing. We'd love to get the insider's perspective of places we visit, so if you are free to show us around - great! If not, no worries, Jessica is a planner!

Have surfed & hosted

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had our very first surfing experience in 2010 during our FL Keys vacation. We stayed w/ 3 different people during the trip. It was such an awesome experience meeting WONDERFUL people and getting the inside scoop on the area. Can't wait to surf again!

We also had the privilege of hosting for a couple nights in 2014 and LOVED it. Would love to have others join us during their travels!

We'd definitely be up for showing people the camping/fishing/hiking/canoeing scene around here.

We would both love to learn to ski/snowboard. We haven't had the opportunity yet. Would also like to go sailing someday.
