ABOUT ME

I had quite a lot of experience with Hospitality Club, which gave me great satisfaction both hosting and being hosted (user name: torsimany). After having discovered the CouchSurfing site, I wanted to become a member inmediately.
Maybe my friends think I am a quite special person: suspiciously living without a TV set at home(!!), being working in so many different things, liking to host foreigners and always trying to approach the ideal for a better and fair world.

I would like to be able to travel more than I do, but I enjoy my life in the countryside. Born in the big city, I soon escaped from there to better sized worlds. Every place deserves an indeep attention, so is the one I live in too...

a 6 month stay in the Norwegian fjords, my firsts solo flights in the Pyrenees, the discovery of Scotland with my daughter, the magical appearance of a wild kangaroo while hiking with my nice Australian host... more to come!

I select my hosts, preferably with no confronted interests, but every host is different and so are the things we do. We might discover the region together, hike around, go to the beach, maybe a concert, take you to any traditional event like the "Castells" and see them from inside or visit friends (or rather they use to gather in my house), and specially we normally use to have lots of chatting, sharing meals... You can suggest what you want to do. I feel glad that all my guests have been nice interesting people so far.
