I have a few different jobs. My passion is my art. I love painting, drawing, creating! So I will definitely promise a creation of some kind in return of a place to stay! My jobs that pay most of the bills is I'm a visual merchandiser and a bartender and also do secretarial work for my fathers haulage company. I'm a all rounder really!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm coming back to italia in December time this year (2016) and I'm just looking at my options for a place to stay during my time there. But I'm very open to meeting new people from all walks of life, I'm a traveller and when in Italy I met so many different people with such different backgrounds and it's great to open your mind to all that I think!

Interests

I love art, culture activities, music, reading, writing, walking and hiking, I love food too. Food is good. That's pretty much summed up.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I live in Ireland and A LOT of people I know are musicians and very talented ones at that! So lots of local music I love, Ruairi and the owls, Mumford and sons, Damien rice, for fighters, Kings of Leon, Ben Howard. Etc etc! You probably get what type of music I'm into, but I like ALL music. Apart from country. Films, I'm a big Disney fan of course. But love LOTR and the hobbit. Batman and all DC and marvel. Maybe the odd chick flick but not so much. Books, I read everything and love books that make you learn something, that give you something to take away with you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I went on my first solo trip. I sold my car, quit my job as a waitress at the time and I traveled to Italy (which has been my first love since a child). When traveling I had plans to stay in Firenze for a few months to study art, I had most of it paid for and I was ready to go. Unfortunately, whilst I was getting money from a ATM machine, I got robbed on the streets. Most of my money for my art course was gone and so my plans had failed. I had to pick myself up straight away and just move on, so I decided to just go travel the rest of Italy with what little money I had left and try to find a job so I could stay. Of course, some time later. I became a au pair and it resulted in me living in Italy for a year and having the most incredible experience of my life. I have many many stories to share about that, but that can come later.

Teach, Learn, Share

Okay, I can teach some English if you wish. I'm patient and we can have a laugh about it! Not a super serious lesson. I speak Italian, so if your Italian your very welcome, I can learn from you too! Painting? I could teach you some painting. And Irish words, we have fun slang words! Oh and drinking games...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love playing tourist guide. My family visited me while in Rome for Christmas and I really loved showing them around the city. If you come stay with me, I can show you all of the beautiful sites here and teach you about the history and culture of Ireland. If im not working of course. At weekends I can take you down to my local pub and you can experience the authentic nightlife of Irish folk. We like to drink, it's kind of our thing. So if your up for it! I can drive you to places, as long as you are nice to my little car and pay for her fuel. It doesn't run on air. But if be more than happy to drive you if I can! In terms of my house, I live in a house, 1 bedroom free! It's in a small town but it's very accessible to many beautiful locations up north! If you like walking and hiking, it's the place to come. I can cook for you, or if you are a great cook and want to show me some of your skills, don't be shy! Just don't poison me! I have 2 little dogs, jack Russell's, they live outside so won't be in the house. But they are friendly, they don't bite!
