About Me

My name is Francesca and I currently work for a travel tech company. I graduated from Harvard last year. I was born in Peru and lived there until I was 10 years old. I try to always see the beauty in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting interesting new people who I can have a good conversation and meal with and the best way I've learned to actually get to know a country or a place is to befriend locals. I've couchsurfed throughout Europe and I can say that it was the highlight of my trip.

Interests

Going to concerts. Dancing (especially hip hop dancing or Latin dancing). Kickboxing. Trying out new foods especially desserts (ice cream and cheesecake in particular have a soft spot in my heart). Documentary-making (amateur but nonetheless). I enjoy doing Zumba a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Trying to sum up my music taste into words is a bit of an impossible challenge but I'll do my best. I love everything from reggaeton to k-pop to R&B. My all-time favorite artist is MJ. Some of my current favorite artists to listen to are Tinashe, Miguel, Charli XCX, Maluma and Rae Sremmurd. Some of my favorite songs of all time include: "Vienna" by Billy Joel, "Like a Prayer" by Madonna and "Human Nature" by Michael Jackson. I adore watching movies. I am a Gaspar Noe and Darren Aronofsky film aficionado. Watching "Requiem for a Dream" and "Love in 3D" were life-changing to me. I like reading everything from "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho to "The princess Diaries" by Meg Cabot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned how to moonwalk
Ate fried scorpions in a night market in China (quite delicious I might add)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some hip hop or latin dancing moves. Also, I'm your go-to person if you ever need help with Spanish or want to learn some phrases or common words in the language.
