I'm a pizza chef by profession, but in recent years, I've also worked for a medicinal plant company. My greatest passions are reading, cinema, and music, mainly as a listener, but I also play the guitar a bit. I'm interested in everything related to ancient civilizations, mythology, art, and the perspective from which people viewed the world. I love philosophy, art-house films, history, and politics; and if these interests are complemented by discussions with friends over a glass of wine, a beer or walking by nature all the better! When time allows, I enjoy practicing tai chi, playing basketball, and snowboarding. For many years, I couldn't travel due to work commitments, and now I'd like to start traveling again. I used to have a profile on Couchsurfing where I hosted some lovely people; then I forgot the profile password... and here I am starting all over again!

I also want to travel a bit more and host when it's possible. Pitigliano is an amazing place if you're looking for nature, archeology and magic! Anyway, if you like wine, thermal baths and wonderful beaches and seasides it's the place for you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: from Philip Glass and Bach passing through classical, jazz, folk, pop, elelctronic, blues and so on forever.

Movies: my lazy self votes for "The Big Lebowsky" as the funniest and more relaxing movie ever. Then it goes as for music...an unended list of good and utterly terrible movies of any kind. I really enjoyed the serie "Beef".

About books, I'm used to read about news on the world; about history, ancient traditions, politics... I can't stand romances.
