CURRENT MISSION Love to teach and learn ABOUT ME Friendly, smart, busy Married the love of my life a few years ago, and we do as much travelling as we can! We love to meet people and be travellers, not just see the sights as "tourists". We live in the far north of the United States, right on the Canadian border, adjacent to the largest wilderness area in the U.S. (outside of Alaska!) I worked in public health, and currently teach Public Health and volunteer as a medic (EMT) with our volunteer fire department. When we are not travelling, we are very happy to host fellow CSers in our yurt (we live in a nearby cabin).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I was introduced to couchsurfing in Sri Lanka while travelling with my son. A wonderful experience, so I signed up when I got home. Since that time we have stayed with Couchsurfers in Italy, and Norway, and have hosted at our hmoe in the North woods of Minnesota.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Married the most wonderful woman in the UNIVERSE! (you may disagree, but that's OK!) Bottle-feeding a baby elephant, trekking in Nepal, raising my 3 sons
