ABOUT ME

i love to travel and to hang out with people. in some ways this can be bad because it is hard to keep strong roots with friends when you are moving around all the time. i am very involved with music, and i feel privilged to be a part of something that allows you to connect with people you do not know. i was in a band for 6 years, and now that that is over i am able to travel more and focus on making new friends outside of my home region.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really love Manila and I would love to meet travelers. I think it would be fun to host someone here, and I've seen a lot of the city and would be a good tour guide. But my hope is that I can make more local friends through CS.

some of my favorite artists are sun kil moon, the smashing pumpkins, minus story, the appleseed cast, the red house painters, books, low, pedro the lion, twothirtyeight, criteria, the get up kids

i still enjoy reading philosophy, and my main interest is in 1900 to present. i also like some of the classic american 20th century fiction.

People being moved by my music, motorbiking through Vietnam, and being able to help ethnic minorities in the Philippines are some real life highlights.
