About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet awesome people from all over the world, see and share different cultures, and experience the world to the fullest!

ABOUT ME

I'm a physicsist, an explorer and a hippie. Three aspects of my personality that don't really seem to go together... but somehow that's me.

A bright and colourful, fun-loving, experience-loving person, ready to share those experiences with anyone :)

And accepting anyone, always loving company and wanting to have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is there to be lived! The pursuit of happiness is the single greatest goal a person can have. And I want everyone around me to be happy as well.

I don't value the things the world values: money, success, the things that they own. People spend their whole lives chasing these things... and then they die.
I'd rather spend the few years I have on this world chasing experiences, doing fun things, learning as many interesting things as I can along the way, and bringing happiness to everyone around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I travel, I meet people and I have fun with them. That's what couchsurfing is about!
And when I'm at home (wherever that may be), I love to give other travelers the best experience in my city!

Interests

Well, I could say how much I love travelling, meeting people, partying, etc. But so does everyone else on couchsurfing, right?

I love all that, but I am also passionate about learning and understanding the world around me. I love science and philosophy in general, but mainly physics, technology and psychology. Anything that stimulates a good thought-provoking conversation.

I also enjoy finding junk and old things and re-using them. I love fixing up old bikes and riding them until they break again. I just love the idea of taking objects people once used and using them again: thinking of the story behind my new chair, or the hat I found.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic movies, and I'm starting to get into classic literature as well.
I love Hitchcock especially, and also Tarantino. Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Memento are a few of my favourites.

I'm a fan of so many different kinds of music~ I'm a big psytrance lover, but also enjoy such varied genres as acoustic indie stuff, retro rock, jazz, electro-swing, and pretty much anything that's a little different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one amazing thing?

There are so many stories, ask me when you meet me :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I'm a physicist, so I know a fair bit about that. I'm actually looking to become a physics professor. Have lectured and tutored University classes and students at Wollongong, and also I try to educate myself on anything scientific. If you want to sit with me and chat about how the world works, I'd love that.

Late night philosophical discussions are kind of what I live for. Life, ideas, philosophies, share them with me, I'm always open to hear.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge about how the world works. Teaching people about science is my passion!

And if you're not interested in that, then I'm happy to share a drink :)
