About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people, see new things and learn while having fun.

ABOUT ME

Active senior looking to enjoy life as long as I can. Love to meet and interact with people of all ages and walks of life. Enjoy long and short trips, playing golf (as the weather and time permit), and spending quality time with my three little grandsons.
I am always looking to meet and make new friends to exchange ideas and hopefully be able to meet in person one day.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life to the fullest. Be happy and don't let a single negative thought enter your mind. Accept ALL people for who and what they are and enjoy the encounters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do hope to be able to participate and meet people sooner rather than later. Mostly, I look forward to a new kind of travel. One where I can get to live the life and know the people of other lands and not just hit the tourist traps.
I am anxious to host people as often as possible even if only for coffee or a drink and some sightseeing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Recently met a lovely couple in Montreal (for coffee or drink) and they were fantastic hosts. The hospitality they extended was wonderful. Also had hoped to meet one or two more that were sort of lined up but the folks I met kept me so busy, there was no time. Also planning a trip to Costa Rica and maybe Guatemala in late January and hope to meet lots of nice people on that trip for coffee, drink, sightseeing. Don't expect to need a couch this time but probably on next trip after that - whereever that might be.

Interests

Interests are numerous but mostly to start moving around the world, learning and experiencing other cultures. Meeting and hosting new people from all over the world and makeing many, many new friends. I enjoy music, reading, crafts, gardening and a host of things but mostly now I'd like to experience other cultures and people.
