WHO AM I: I am a 20 year old girl who grew up in California! I love animals (I run a petsitting business in Santa Barbara)!! I also enjoy singing, making music, playing tennis, and of course traveling. I am all about positivity, creativity, and learning new things. I love to motivate my self and others to be the best version of ourselves. MY PASSION: My biggest passion is studying human compassion. My best friend and I decided to create a project to travel the world to learn more about different cultures, and research where compassion plays in with the community. We believe compassion is the worlds biggest untapped resource, and our goal is to bring light to the movement. We love to learn about people, and help whenever we can! My goal in life is to create resources for communities to help them become more cohesive so we can override hate with understanding and love. Why I'm on Couchsurfing

MY MISSION: Im on couch surfing because my best friend and I are traveling the world starting October 1st through November 6th. We are going to 5 different countries to learn about different cultures. We are doing research on compassion, and everything we are doing is out of our love for growing as people, and sharing our experiences via blog/vlog. We have been saving and planning for this trip for the past 2 years, and all of our expenses come out of what we have saved. We both quit our jobs for this experience, and would prefer to couch surf because it will help us learn more about the culture and people of the areas if we are able to stay with them :) We are VERY social and friendly people and are open to new experiences.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Ive done a couple pretty cool things i.e. sing in carnage hall in New York, and travel Europe with my choir to sing in cathedrals, BUT I think this trip will by far be the most amazing thing I will do. Im chasing my dreams by doing this trip. Im giving up stability to try to inspire others, make others happy, and hopefully someday help the people of this Earth become something we are proud to live with.

Teach, Learn, Share

WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER: I can teach English, but if you already speak it, I love to teach about energy. Everything and everyone has energy, and if you become more self aware, you can have more control over your environment and the people you want around you. You have the power to give yourself the most positive life if you want it :) WHAT I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN: I am learning Portuguese and Spanish, and would love help with that! But I also love to learn about peoples views on our world and the problems that they are conflicted with in their society. I also love to listen to peoples goals and dreams.

What I Can Share With Hosts

I can share my experiences with traveling and the compassion we find in each place we visit. We are making videos for each place we go, so we would love to share our findings! I can also share singing lessons, basic piano lessons, and tennis lessons. Cooking wise, I make really good guacamole and lemonade! :)
