About Me

I have had a blast roaming the globe almost my entire life and have no intentions of stopping. I have a constant desire to explore, adventure and play amongst this crazy planet of ours. I am a gypsy/pirate/runaway at heart, a sun lover but happy in the mud and rain too. Definitely enjoy a beverage or two, a party or a decent banter full chat!
Originally from NZ but a mixed bag and happy to be. I have left little pieces of my soul around this world, and am eternally grateful to be a misfit amongst it all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The below was written some time ago, I have since resided in Sydney, Vietnam and now Bali... I am on the move on the regular, and part of my story is below!

"I flipped a coin a long time ago now, sitting outside a friends bar. That little flip resulted in me booking a one-way flight to Berlin. Whereupon a year and a seven months later fate yet again touched me down in Sydney ;)

My house in Berlin was a revolving door, our couches taken by many and beds often shared.

I have hosted many a traveler, many a friend and have had many do the same for me :) I believe in a genuine human attitude of my home is your home and shall pay it forward when the time is right!"

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a child of the eighties, raised on old school rock 'n roll, folk and gangster rap. I lived through the 90's and fell big time for many, as I have travelled I have collected an eclectic love for a lot of music, my heart revolves towards Reggae, Hip Hop, Ridiculous pop, 90's almost anything, the greats, Bowie, 2Pac, Talking heads, J Dilla, The Rolling stones, Ozzie, Bob Marley.... I don't even know how people answer a question like this when there are so many fucking brilliant types of music and amazing artists. I started and can not finish.

Also difficult, but here's a few...
(Such traveler reads....)
-Just Kids by Patti Smith.
-The Beach by Alex Garland.
-Half the Sky by Nicholas Kristof & Sheryl WuDunn
-The life by Keith Richards
-The Dirt by Motley Crüe & Neil Strauss
-Animalia by Graeme Base
-Marching Powder by Rusty Young
-First they killed my father by Loung Ung
-Stasiland by Anna Fünder
-Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flown an Alex the kid type helicopter around the coast of Lorne after always desiring to do so....

Can't stop at one, got lucky and lived on a tropical island as a 4 year old child, realised this was the life I wanted to lead and did just that as an adult... Lived between tropical paradises and concrete jungles, but with sunshine, booze and a bunch of good mates... The beach eat your heart out 🌴⚓️👣💚

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning constantly, from many, my mentors are from near and far and a variety of incredible talents. I intend to teach, learn and share till the end of my days...

Having semi insomnia, I see as a benefit. It means energy and sometimes none but either way I take from it what I can...
