About Me
Hey! I am a 22 years old computer engineering student from Venezuela. I arrived Belgium this September as an exchange student for the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL).
Traveling is one thing that I love doing, and that I have tried to maximize since I arrived europe! I believe that there is no easier way to get richer rather than filling yourself with cultures and experiences...
I really find myself connected to music, every music gender (well almost every...), every song has an story to tell us if we pay enough attention. This stories for me work in many different ways, and I think is our job to unlock their meaning to us.
Walking on parks, seen landscapes and basically just taking a minute to see how everything around you works is an amazing idea to just stop your world for a second. I find myself quite comfortable around people, but I really appreciate those me to me moments.
I truly believe that good thing happens to those that are good, and we need to fill the world with more people who believes in helping even in the smallest things! :).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A city can be as interesting as it is described to you, and allowing myself to see the city through the eyes of someone who lives there is an experience i wouldn't miss. As i said before, I am an exchange student from Venezuela and all this casual traveling through Europe is new to me.
Getting to know new people, and so all the wisdom they have to offer me in any subject , is an opportunity that I would like to encourage to take!.
Music, Movies, and Books
I cant really say I have a favorite music. I consider my self quite miscellaneous and hear a bit of everything, but cant deny my Latin roots when it comes to salsa or some other Spanish speaking music!.
Not really into movies, but if i had to choose a "favorite" one i would go for "Mr nobody", quite deep movie and one that can be interpreted in many interesting ways.
Last but not least, I am a bit of a fan when it comes to books! A little bit picky when it comes to choosing one, having preferences for fictions books... Really like Rick Riordan books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been part of the gaitas (Venezuelan Christmas music) musical group of my school for the 2013 competitions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sometimes those assets that are not tangible are those that we must value the most. A good chat, share some memories or even something as simple as sharing a meal and talk about life can be really fulfilling.
