Hi Couchsurfers!

I am on the tail end on an unexpectedly long travel, visiting friends and family throughout Europe, volunteering in Crete, and exploring possibilities for my next moves.

I am originally from England, but have I have been living in Maine, US, for the past 7 years after following romance there. Now that we have split up, and America is an increasingly inhospitable place to be(!), I am looking at my next options. Before that, I lived in or near Barcelona for a few years. It is so surreal to be returning nearly 8 years later!

To finish my travels I am reuniting with a good friend of mine from Galicia after many years apart, and couldn't resist traveling to Catalonia, too. Having been on the road now for (what will be) four months, I am really in the mindset of a more connected and open-minded kind of travel. I find it often takes a bit of time to get back into this headspace, and I'm excited to make a few more friends before I head on. For this reason, I came back to Courchsurfing, a platform I've only had great experiences with.

If you have the availability and capacity to host me, I would be very happy to spend as much or as little time together as you please. I'm both very social and content in my own company. At the very least, I would love to cook for you when our time aligns! Also, though I do remember plenty of Barcelona, experiencing it again through your lens would be a bonus.
