Hi Couchsurfers! Woah, it's funny to be back on here. Honestly, I think our world has changed a lot since the time I was most active on this, it is heartening to see there is some life left on the platform.

Currently, I am in Thessaloniki having traveled here to see a Masters degree in Psychotherapy. I'm interested in resuming work with children, though this time through a lens of play therapy.

This trip is on the back of visiting my family who are scattered around Europe -- my mother in France, my brother in Portugal, and the rest of my family in England --, where I'm originally from. Now, I would love to finish my journey in Crete, to experience some warmth, the beauty of the island, and some time to reflect on where I have been and where I'm going.

I have been based in Maine, US, for the past 7 years having followed a relationship there. That came to an end several years ago and I am feeling ready to uproot myself and start building a life back on this side of the world. In my time there I have been working with immigrants and refugees, something I continue to be drawn to and would eventually love to find some volunteering to get stuck into when I come back to Greece in September.

I am very easy going, curious, adventurous, and peaceful. I am social and content in my own company, I would be very happy to spend as much or as little time together as you please.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because experiencing a place through a more local lens is something I love to experience and to provide, equally! I also feel that, generally, someone who is willing to share their world is this way is surely warm and welcome company.
