Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Searching for a home for the next 5 years.
ABOUT ME
Since I was very young, I've had the goal of visiting all 50 states and visiting as many countries as I can. To date: 29 states, 1 commonwealth, and 3 countries. I've been sidetracked by 4 years of med school, but it is nearing it's end and I can get back to work on my goal! I am now in my 4th year, which has given me ample opportunities to travel while searching for a residency and plenty of free time to travel. I am a very laid back person and always up for doing absolutely anything, preferably learning about things I've never seen or done before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm fairly new to couchsurfing. I spent 10 days surfing in Puerto Rico and made some great friends there. My friends and I then hosted our Puerto Rican hosts in Iowa City for a few days. I am currently very busy and not always in Iowa City, but if it works I would love to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
10 days in Puerto Rico was not long enough to explore such a beautiful island with such amazing people! I can't wait to get back. I hope to have many more couchsurfing experiences in the near future.

Music, Movies, and Books
Working on Lou Holtz's "Winning Every Day," cheesy but funny and has a good message.
Movies and music: Too many to name..I'm not picky at all when it comes to movies or music but I enjoy finding new artists.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went swimming in a bioluminescent bay in Puerto Rico.. amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I suppose 4 years of medical school has given me a decent understanding of the inner workings of the human body and mind, which I think is pretty cool. Also, having grown up in a town of 800 in rural Iowa , I believe I can share a unique experience of how simple, yet amazing life can be.
Countries I’ve Visited
Mexico, Puerto Rico
