About Me
I am recently widowed after 33 amazing years with my wife Robin. We had 4 children together and they are amazing. I love to meet new people and I am very social. I do best in smaller groups of one on one with people.
My whole career has been working with seniors in the healthcare field. I have a consulting company in management, temporary management, staffing and leadership advising. I find that people need encouragement more than anything in my field. It is what I enjoy giving the most!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel the best way to experience our world is to meet other people. My son Trevor, walked across America several years ago with his best friend. I was so excited each time they shared how many new friends they met along the way. Unfortunatly, he passed from cancer after he returned from his trip and I want to continue his legacy of kindness and making friends each time I travel.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of music, from classic rock, country to contemporary Christian music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to several islands in my lifetime and lived on Sanibel Island, Florida for over 2 years with all our vacation time there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn about new cultures and how people live. One of my favorite past times is laughing, at myself, at you, at others. I have been known to be a prankster at times. Laughter is an amazing universal language. I am very easy going and laid back. I enjoy a good scotch, a mixed drink or a strong IPA. Every now and again, I have been seen smoking a cigar. But not expensive ones, not because I can't afford them....because I would not know the difference!
