Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I hope to couch surf on some travels...and perhaps host some as well. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Though I have slept on many couches, hammocks and sleeping bags, I have only couch surfed once.....It was a great experience as I made a new friend.

The Big Lebowski...O Brother...The Outsiders...Bourne series...Star Wars....Indiana Jones...I can sit through any movie if I have popcorn and something to drink.....maybe a little chocolate too!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I was a teenager people would say, "That boy will never make it to twenty one." Well, I have vastly exceeded their expectations by decades. Most of those folks would say that's amazing. I have rafted the entire Grand Canyon. I hitch hiked from south Texas to Canada when I was a teen. I've made seven trips to Ecuador in the last year taking water filters to the victims of a 7.8m earthquake.

My Interests
I love music...especially blues, classic rock and Americana. I play guitar and harmonica and once traveled with a R&R band chasing the "dream." It was fun, but didn't pay the bills. I love writing songs, jamming and swapping songs with other players. I believe everyone is beautiful when they smile! I like good movies, popcorn and conversation about the film.
