I'm a Berliner, who comes from Goa, India. I'm someone who likes to meet new people and learn new things from them. I like to have new experiences and try new stuff. Besides, I'm a follower of geo-politics (not the everyday boring politics). I shall be busy in September. But you could still send me a request. I'll host you if I can. Also, I prefer to have guests who are proper Couchsurfers; those who understand the concept of give and take. If you are new on Couchsurfing, I would recommend you to read the following blog. It will increase your chances of finding hosts! https://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/how-to-crush-it-on-couchsurfing/

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I read this somewhere - "What you know is what you get". Meaning, in most situations unfamiliar to us we subconsciously search for familiarity with what we already know. Our reaction is a function of what we know in the little universe of our mind. I am on couchsurfing to meet people from backgrounds different than mine, have deep meaningful conversations with them, and wish to expand the universe of their mind along with mine. Besides, I have had some really nice experiences with Couchsurfing. They have turned me into a commited Couchsurfer.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Instrumental, Bollywood, Techno, Trance and Black Metal (Weird? I know!) Movies: Border, 3 Idiots, Schindler's List, Bridge of Spies, Lives of Others Books: Wings of Fire, Turning Points, The Monk who sold his Ferrari, The Journey Home: Autobiography of an American Swami, Understanding Cairo: The Logic of a City Out of Control
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Once I wanted to go see a waterfall, deep inside a forest in Goa. So, I hitchhiked on a freight train, standing near the hot engine chamber. It was an adventure! Climbed up a side of a pyramid in Giza, Egypt (not to the top)
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you Hindi, English or German. Tell you about history and culture of India or places to visit in India. I would love to learn about your country too! If you wish to share anything worth being known, I'll be all ears for you! Besides, I organize CS events every few weeks, where I visit some lesser known but interesting places in and around Berlin. If you can be my guest at the right time, you can be lucky!
What I Can Share With Hosts
We could have good times, full of conversations. I can cook Indian food for you, teach you Hindi. If you want to visit Berlin, here are my recommendations: * German Parliament (prior reservation required for entrance) * Brandenburg Gate + Memorial for murdered Jews of Europe * Alexanderplatz + Nikolaiviertal + Berliner Dom * Berliner Unterwelten (tours of Nazi era underground facilities) * Free walking tour * Doener Kebab sandwich + Curry Wurst * East side Gallery * Naturkunde Museum (for fans of dinosaur skeletons) * Citadel of Spandau (for the Bat cellar)
