ABOUT ME

I travel or work abroad whenever I can, and when I do I like to travel slow and spend a lot of time getting to know a place. I've studied in Ghana, and worked at a health clinic in Peru.

I travel because it's a great reminder to stay awake and participate.

I’m a Physician Assistant (like a doctor with supervision). I used to write occasionally for publications fool enough to publish me. I play guitar, read a bunch, and like to dance (badly). Always down for a game of chess, a hike, soccer, surfing. Man, whatever.

Offering a place to stay whenever I can. I'm really down with the Couchsurfing ethic. Now I’m finally in one place for at least a year, and living alone, so I’m stoked to be able to offer up my place.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Amazing is a pretty tall order, but I once got my hands on a Peruvian firefighter outfit and wore it for Halloween. I´ve rowed down a hippo-populated river in Ghana, I´ve worked in a lab in the Sacred Valley of Peru identifying parasites. I caught a fish with a piece of line, some squid, and a hook from the beach in Ecuador.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can share experiences from my life, abundant willingness to do dishes, and lots of beers. Also Spanish. Also music. Currently I'm growing edible mushrooms, so I'm interested to teach/learn more about that

I want to learn French and would be happy to get better at Twi or Ga, so that I can joke around with my buddy from Ghana.
