Dejar el mundo mejor que lo encontré. ABOUT ME I travel or work abroad whenever I can, and when I do I like to travel slow and spend a lot of time getting to know a place. I've studied in Ghana, and worked at a health clinic in Peru. I travel because it's a great reminder to stay awake and participate. I’m a Physician Assistant (like a doctor with supervision). I used to write occasionally for publications fool enough to publish me. I play guitar, read a bunch, and like to dance (badly). Always down for a game of chess, a hike, soccer, surfing. Man, whatever. PHILOSOPHY Age is a sickness, youth is an ambush.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Offering a place to stay whenever I can. I'm really down with the Couchsurfing ethic. Now I’m finally in one place for at least a year, and living alone, so I’m stoked to be able to offer up my place. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I'm intimately familiar with all manner of couches, sofas, and love seats.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Amazing is a pretty tall order, but I once got my hands on a Peruvian firefighter outfit and wore it for Halloween. I´ve rowed down a hippo-populated river in Ghana, I´ve worked in a lab in the Sacred Valley of Peru identifying parasites. I caught a fish with a piece of line, some squid, and a hook from the beach in Ecuador.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share experiences from my life, abundant willingness to do dishes, and lots of beers. Also Spanish. Also music. Currently I'm growing edible mushrooms, so I'm interested to teach/learn more about that I want to learn French and would be happy to get better at Twi or Ga, so that I can joke around with my buddy from Ghana.
