About Me

Hi my name is Georg, I'm from Italy, from South Tyrol to be exact.
(I know my name doesn't sound very Italian, and it isn't. The story behind the place I come from is special in its own way.)

2020 I'm visiting the south of France. Starting from Monaco. And then ... Let's see where the journey takes me. I made a similar trip last year in Italy, living from day to day. This year I want to do the same in France.

I would describe myself as an open-minded and fun person. Those who know me will tell you that I laugh until I cry (and beyond🤣).
Besides laughing I love to be outdoors. May it be hiking or mountain biking I could stay in the mountains forever. When traveling the thing which excites me the most is seeing and experiencing life as the locals live it. Besides that, I'm interested in all kinds of things ranging from tech all the way to philosophical things.
No matter the topic I bet we have a great time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the end, we only will remember the fun experiences and the people we have shared them with. That's why I choose Couchsurfing over hotels. For me, a vacation is not only about the place but more about the people you meet and the experiences you share. And the people on CS all have this thing in common. I don't know! They are all great to hang out with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

After school, I've noticed that a passion of mine is learning new things about stuff I'm excited about. There is so much I don't know. The body-mind connection, how tech stuff works, the list could go on forever ... What really excites me about CS is that I get to learn so much stuff from other people with different backgrounds and world views :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bad jokes and I can cook the worlds best Risotto for you :D
As a former boy scout and nature enthusiast, I can teach you a lot of things that will be helpful to survive a zombie apocalypse. 😅 Building a shelter, making fire with a bow, and so on.
As a mountain biker, I can show you how to fix your bike. Anything tech-related especially if it has to do with software (I'm working in a software company)
