Hello everybody. My name is George and I work as an English teacher for primary school. I'm working in project called ENGLISH VERY WELL 2015 according to Ministry of National Education (Colombia) For it I live in Colombia now. I work full time. I start at six o clock and I go home at six thirty. I read books every Sunday, I like cooking in the morning and I love inviting friends to my flat. We enjoy each moment. I sometimes go swimming in the pool. I love nature and enjoy walking through the forest. I want to travel to Italy especially to Vatican City, I love that place and I wish to visit St. Peter´s square and some churches. I love languages, I study Italian, Portuguese, French and English when I´m free; in fact, I practice my own pronunciation with people from other countries on Skype. I hope we keep in contact and share information about our lives. See you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think travelling is one of the best ways to enlighten myself about different cultures. I get to learn about a new place. It's culture, it's traditions, it's history. I might even encounter a new language. I get to learn about the different kinds of arts and crafts associated with that place. I get to learn about the food and fashion habits of the people living in that place.
Meeting new friends is fun. On Couchsurfing you have a better chance that the people you meet will become your friends, because you've already seen their profile, you already have some idea of how they interact, you already know that you have a few things in common, you already see from their references that they're a decent person, you know they like travelling and meeting new people, you know they are willing to trust strangers, etc. An added benefit is that often these new friends have houses in exciting countries, and are willing to let you stay there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved my brother when he was 3 from a car speeding by. he walked into a busy street and i dove and sort of surronded him with my body preventing any serious injury to him. To my luck the car drivers were paying attention and skidded to a halt and saved my life.
