I just returned to the US after spending the last two years living abroad. I spent 2016 travelling and working throughout both Northern Europe (Sweden and Denmark) and the Western Balkans. I then spent a year working and living in Chiayi, Taiwan. During my time in Taiwan, I began to host Couchsurfers and had some really amazing experiences. I am now based in Berea, KY and would love to continue to meet and host travelers from all over the world!

Along my travels, I have experienced so much generosity and genuine hospitality from people. It is amazing how in some parts of the world, someone will go completely out of their way to help or host a complete stranger. Now that I am more settled for the time being, I feel like I want to offer other travelers that same kind of opportunity - sort of a 'pay it forward' kind of thing.

My musical interests are ever-changing and developing, but right now I'm spending most of my time listening to a lot of alt-country; Townes Van Zandt, Phosphorescent, Hayes Carll, Dawes, Jonny Corndawg, Deer Tick, Dave Rawlings, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Bonnie Prince Billy, Jason Molina, Margo Price, Giant Sand, and Bill Callahan have all been on repeat lately!

I walked for 70 days and about 1500km from Slovenia to Albania. It was a truly life-changing experience!
