I enjoy visiting other areas and seeing how life is. I exercise often and enjoy running anything from a 5k to a marathon. I am single with two children, one in New York and the other in high school. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I found couchsurfing while reading a book about a couple traveling without arrangements or luggage. I think couchsurfing would be a great adventure. I have used AirBnB and it was great. this is an even better step into getting to know people and places
Music, Movies, and Books
for music I would say easy rock and country but I lately I have been branching out into other areas. My favorite movie would have to be Shawshank Redemption. I enjoy biographies mostly.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
i ran the Boston Marathon, 4 times and NY once. I am a 2016 Ironman

I can teach you the basics of running and also enjoy learning about what you enjoy doing if time permits and you are not busy.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I have a simple house in a town about 30 miles from Charlotte NC. I can provide the entire house to treat as your house. I work and go to the gym so you will be able to come and go as you please. I can help find restaurants, activities and also show you around if that is your thing. If you are here to just sleep overnight that will be fine also.
My Interests
I would enjoy going to new places and being able to submerge myself in the culture and get away from the tourist areas.
