Hi!! I've been living in Japan for the past two years, working as an ALT on the JET programme. I love travelling and meeting new people. I live in Sagae in Yamagata which is an awesome prefecture, especially if you enjoy hiking, skiing or anything mountain-related. I also enjoy bouldering, reading books and painting.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I think you get so much more out of travelling when you interact with people who live in the places you are visiting. I'm just starting out using couchsurfing proper but it seems like an excellent way to travel.

Books: Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto, Pride and Prejudice (it's a cliche for a reason), anything by Terry Pratchett Movies: The Prestige, Chicago, Thor:Ragnarok, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Music: at the moment I'm listening to a lot of Lorde, Mitski and The Japanese House. Hoping to go to Fuji Rock in July!
