About Me

Wanderlust. I’ve just finished college with a bachelor in Electrical Engineering and backpacking has been one of my biggest dream that I’ve been striving for patiently for the past 5 years. I can’t wait to see the world, how different parts of the world look like and how diversified the world really is in terms of culture and living daily lives. I’ve been to Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Thailand and Macao (asian countries) and rn traveling in United States of America with a student exchange program. I guess this is just the beginning of my ambitious journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people and just live with the local culture, experiencing with the locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything from country to funk. Funk is my definite favorite due to influences of black drummers. Movies would be Avatar, anything with an amazing plot and creative ideas/concepts would be interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a drummer for 8 years and been playing badminton competitively since my primary years. I teach drums lessons at a studio near my place back home. I’m a Christian, a religious person but not a fanatic. Most of the free time I’d watch Drum covers and lessons on YouTube, not too much of series and dramas (except for GOT)! I love sharing my life, and love hearing other’s too! I think life is not just about me and what I grew up to be, it’s so much more than just me and my world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Definitely my life and my home culture! My experiences, beliefs and interests. I’m never not ready to open myself up to strangers, I don’t believe in building walls around people, mutual trust creates special friends.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand
