About Me

My name is Gerardo and I am a 22 year old male who recently graduated from college. Since graduation I have been working a 9-5 job and have realized working is more boring than I thought. I hope to travel much of the world before my time in this world ends. I am always seeking some adventure and living in the PNW I have gotten a good dose of it. I consider myself very friendly and accepting of others. I love to hear what my fellow humans have done in the world and what they have been able to see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Technology has allowed for the quickest and easiest communication between humans ever. We can see family living across the world in realtime and can send gifts in a matter of days. I have always felt the connection between humans and know we can help each other in many ways. Instead of booking a room by myself in a city I don't know I would rather find a local and have them show me around or direct me. It seems less and less people will ask for help from another human and rather "google it." We can't always depend on technology but it can be our tool.

Interests

I enjoy cooking delicious Mexican food and sharing new experiences with different people. I hope to one day explore the world and see places very few ever will. Sports can be fun to watch.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not very picky when it comes to music... but I do prefer music with lyrics that I can understand. I hardly read but can enjoy a couple movies nonstop.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I am bilingual and can definitely help with learning some Spanish.

Learn: I am continuing to learn French so I can use all the help and practice I can get.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself a pretty good cook and can easily share a Mexican meal with my hosts.
