My name is Giang, not Tran (in Vietnamese we have a different name order) 🤪.

When I travel, I don’t hope to fill up my bucket list with cool things and nice places. Instead, I want to spend more time on human interaction, culture, and history. For me, traveling means more of the internal values, opportunity to learn about growing up in this big world.

I have nothing but young blood, curiosity and enthusiasm. I deeply believe in kindness and humankind.

I love psychology, especially mental health. I am a UNICEF mental health activist and my film once was launched in New York.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read everything within reach, even the shampoo labels 🤣 My preferred genres are psychology, contemporary, philosophy and nonfiction. Some of my favorites: Body keeps the score, Norwegian Woods, The Little Prince, 1984, Sapiens, and a few more Vietnamese novels. I don’t have any specific favorite authors but I read quite many of Haruki Murakami, Milan Kundera, Franz Kafka, Hermann Hesse, Alain de Botton, George Orwell, Yuval Noah Harari, Jared Diamond, etc.

For music, I am quite easy and go with the mainstream.

For movies, I don’t watch much. Why would I if I can read books which are more interesting and insightful 🤓.

Growing up, I learn lots of Vietnamese cooking recipes and tips. Therefore, I can offer you nice meals and good chef knowledge 🤓.
