À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

I quit my 9-5 day jobs 3 years ago to be a freelance translator so that I can be more flexible with work and traveling, and also I love working in my T-shirts and shorts:)))
I also love textile design, which I have learned by myself, and currently selling my own natural dyed silk scarves at https://www.facebook.com/giangupcycledstyle
If you're also interested in natural dye and would like to exchange some knowledge/practice, I'd love to invite you to my workshop in Hanoi:)
I love to share with people who love art and craft, and sure love to learn from as many people as possible:)

ABOUT ME

Free, flexible, open-minded, love art& craft, especially Jazz and Blues.

On one hand, I’m an independent, down on Earth person who prefer good action over nice words, but on the other hand, I’m also a romantic, day dreaming-type of person who want to find a life partner to travel the world with, and finally settle down somewhere surrounded by trees and water, to build my own house and grow my own fruit:) I love to learn more about nature and organic food from other people.

PHILOSOPHY

“Live, travel, adventure, bless, and don't be sorry.”
― Jack Kerouac
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.”
– Marcel Proust

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I am living with my brother in a two-bedroom house with friends in Tay Ho District, Hanoi. It takes 30’ from Noi bai airport (take the airport bus No 86). and 15’ to the old quater by bus (Hanoi city bus no 31)
We are happy to host you at our extra room - we have an extra fan, matress, pillow and blanket that you can use:) You can also use our kitchen to cook, our washing machine to do laundry ; we have hot water shower and we can provide extra towel for you:)
At this moment we can accept to maximum 2 CS.
Because of Vietnamese government policy, foreigners guests staying with us need to send me a scan of your passport + Vietnamese visa (if any) + 1 picture of you to register with the local police.
I cook dinner at home so I’m happy if you would like to enjoy some home-cook meals with me.
I can show you around at weekends and hanging out after work on week-days.
Besides, if you are up for some food/drinks to have little chat or hanging out, send me a message, I'm more than happy to share with you about Hanoi:)
