About Me

I'm an easy going, moderately talkative guy. Not too adventurous though. I like to go out with friends to bars and restaurants, but try to avoid dancings and such. If I'm not working, I'm often home, watching Netflix, listening to music, cooking, working a bit in the house etc. As I said not too adventurous :) But I'm open to things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I opened an account initially to be able to stay over at other people's places abroad. Then again, I would certainly like having people over, but I'm a distance away from the cities you may want to visit in Belgium. All depends what you expect, I guess :)

Interests

Music (Beatles, other rock bands, other...) and live performances, TV Series and movies, good food (asian, Belgian/French, Italian, ...), going out for drinks and dinner, cooking...

Music, Movies, and Books

The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Great Mountain Fire (BXL band), Novastar, Paul McCartney, Queen, The Van Jets, and many others... All kinds of movies with a particular interest in (action) thrillers, good comedies, LOTR style, Tarantino, etc. I don't read so many books as I used to anymore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This was a surreal experience rather than anything I've "done". With some friends I went to a mini-festival in Sweden, called SandvikFest. I met a lot of great people from different countries there. The atmosphere was great too, the organisation perfect, and the weather beautiful. Even though it was a trip of less than a week, when I came back to the office, I felt more than ever how superficial parts of our society are.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure yet what to put here. Don't worry, it'll come!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depends on the host, but it's always nice to share interests. I like philosophising too, depending on the mood. Other than that: Belgian beer, bars where they serve them, good restaurants etc.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
