My name is Gilang, I’m the 2nd son from three of my family.I grew up in an unpretentious family in a city names Purwokerto. It’s a beautiful and homey city which located in southern of Mount Slamet .Because its located in front of the mountain,my city has an intense rainy month when west monsoon was began. I have some hobbies such as swimming, reading, and jogging. Actually I like swim very much, because when I was 9th sometimes I joined swimming competition in the provincial level. I am a student in Senior High School 2 Purwokerto which is located in central city of Purwokerto. Everyday I walk to the school because my school’s distance just a few hundred meters from my house. I’m 12th grade now and it is sure for me to consentrate to prepare the national exam. There are two programs in my school, Matemathic Science and Social Science programs, and I join Mathematic Science program. My school is one of favorite school in Purwokerto. My school is disipline, because we have to go to school before 06.45 a.m. everyday in 5 days (Monday-Friday) and class was finish at 03.15 p.m. And if someone was late arrive at school he/she will get some point of undicipliner. I also joined some extraculicular activity in my school such as scout, youth red cross, islamic society,and olympiad team. Talk about olympiad team, by chance i joined olympian’s school squad in earth sciences materials, and by following each step from region until national. Actually now i’ll join the process to be selected as indonesian earth science team to join the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) 2016 in Japan. I will explain it just a little, there are 4 materials in Earth Science such as geology, meteorology, oceanography and astronomi. I learnt much of knowledge about the earth and surrounding. It makes me know and think about earth from interior until exterior, part by part, phenomenon by phenomenon, time by time and many more. That makes me interested, and have spirit to learn more and more. And from the competition of National Sciene Olympiad which is called OSN (Olimpiade Sains Nasional) I’ve known about struggle. Because it is not easy to join that competition. I have to lose my time for study,because there is no earth science lessons in a formal school, so I have to be an autonomous and active to search reference about earth science. And absolutely it takes my sleep time, because I have to read many references to prepare the competiton. But thats all make me realize that if we want something, there is no doubt to keep on our goals, although should fight with my laziness and I should left for a moment with my lessons in my school. But I feel lucky because I can pass all of my difficulties with assist from my friends and my parents
