PHILOSOPHY
I'm generally a positive happy person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted in cities all over Central and Eastern Europe and those experiences have been incredible. I've met couchsurfers and made wonderful friends! I've been extremely lucky in those that I've met have been amazing people, which only makes me want to continue meeting people this way!
Interests
I'm passionate about food. When I'm not cooking (usually for my friends and family), I can be found pouring over cookbooks, experimenting with new recipes or looking at beautiful photos of food. I love food from all over the world, will eat anything and love to learn new recipes and to share food with others!
I also love the outdoors and I do a lot of walking, both in the city and hiking. I enjoy learning about different cultures and traditions, philosophy and current events. I love folklore and fairytales, and of course I'm always looking to hear new versions!

Music, Movies, and Books
I read all sorts of books, both fiction and non-fiction. Books that best represent me and my tastes would include the Poisonwood Bible, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy,Haroun and the Sea of Stories, as well as all of John Green's novels (my favourite is The Fault in Our Stars).
In terms of music I like being exposed to new and interesting things but I do tend to fall back on old favourites time and time again. On my ipod always is music by Dan Mangan, The Blues Brothers, The Good Lovelies, Alabama Shakes, Mother Mother, Regina Specktor, The Black Keys and Stars.
I must say I love watching a good movie (and I have a soft spot for the very very bad ones...)
