I am 64 and living in Joburg, SA.- tough place!
I have lived 12 years in UK, training and working.
I work privately with children with difficulties, and Speech/Voice coaching with adults. I need to get onto european soil every about 2 years, or i feel starved and claustrophobic.
I really love to stay in villages and country places.
I dont enjoy cities, except for art galleries etc.
I resist "the system" and have always been an alternative person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i enjoy meeting people....extending my "circle"
in SA, our currency is very poor and so travelling in europe is a large expense. So, Couch surfing helps relieve that. i also am not a person who likes hotels and feeling so strange in a new place and much rather stay with a family or others and that is a way to enter inside a place.
