Overview
About Me
I am an italian engineer, who has been working on renewable energies and global crisis since 2003: I have always been in search of a different kind of life, a life style which should be respectful of mother nature, in which relationships should be based on cooperation, solidarity and love.
I am a simple, outgoing, ever-learning person who wants always to be in touch with new cultures to learn more, to have fun and make friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To know a different way of traveling, to be more in touch with local people in a new and funny way.
Interests
My first passion is traveling and backpacking: when I was a student, during the summer holidays I was used to travel by car with friends from Rome to different european countries ( Great Britain, Ireland, France, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Greece). We were used to bring a tent with us and to go camping during our travels which lasted at least one month.
I started traveling outside Europe when I started working: I've visited Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina.
My second passion are ecovillages: I've visited some of the most important in the world. I've lived 5 months in Auroville (India), 4 months in one of the oldest italian ecovillages. I've visited Tamera in Portugal, Ecovilla Gaia in Argentina, Panya Project in Thailand. I'm always interested in learning and understanding what communities are doing to find a new way of living.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz, fusion, lounge and I'm a Pink Floyd fan.
I love reading biographies (Pablo Neruda and Miles Davis are my favorite ones), history and travel books (Shantaram, Into the Wild, the Beach).
I don't like too much television and movies: I prefer reading a good book than watching a movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
everything in my life is incredible, the miracle of living every moment intensely and in simplicity: from my travels I've learned that life is simple, it doesn't require much to be happy, just sunshine and a smile.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am absolutely into sharing and being in touch with different cultures and different ways of living.
