Overview
About Me
Born in Venezuela and moved to Canada when I was quite young. Thankfully I have still maintained my spanish (language and culture)!
I love to explore and meet new people. I'd also like to consider myself a really approachable person who's willing to try new things and accept different perspectives.
I work at a startup company in downtown Toronto where I help write the software for our product alongside 10 other software engineers.
I am a huge soccer fan, and am dying to do a "soccer euro trip" where I travel to various cities based on their soccer teams.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like getting a local's perspective while visiting new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've started my own company. Learned lots, and ended up shutting it down to work with a pair of awesome cofounders (this is the company I am at now). I plan to start an ambitious software company within 1 or 2 years.
I built my website (gdelgado.ca) from scratch. I wrote all the code and made the design for it.
In Winter 2014 I challenged myself to blog every other day for four months straight (https://gdelgado.ca/tag/forty-eight.html)
I didn't publicize the blog because of how personal / philosophical / deep I got with it. It was more of an exercise in mental refinement.
My mind felt incredibly sharp, and I felt this calmness inside me which I sometimes miss.
This was in complete contrast to my first blog, which garnered over 30,000 views in less than 8 months.
