About Me

PHILOSOPHY: You can't define fate, but you can control your reaction to daily facts and therefore your destiny.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I've never travelled far from Greece and I want to meet other people with different lives and habits, learn from their civilization, be amazed by the nature and prove that people so different can have so many things in common.

UPDATE:

5 years ago I wrote this description, before I travelled abroad for the first time, while couschsurfing at the same time. That was the beginning of everything. I decided not to delete the previous bio, thus keeping a form of personal diary. Today I have travelled to 10 countries and many cities and islands, met unique people and felt new emotions. Traveling for me is a way to discover unexplored aspects of myself and my surroundings, and couchsurfing is one of the best tools to achieve this.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a very important part of my life, my favourite genres are rock (alternative, stoner, psychedelic, hard rock), electronic (melodic techno, electro dance, deep and minimal house) and oldschool rap. I also love cinema and analysing the plot, the different meanings, the direction and the performances of the actors. I have a long list of reviews and movies I want to see on imdb, so lets start sharing :D I generally prefer movies with careful direction that make you think and experiment with your emotions. Finally my favorite book is "The conquest of happiness", by Bertrand Russell, a book that won the Nobel prize of literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some unforgettable things I've done are my first cliff jump, volunteering at Tedx, taking part in two theatrical shows, my very first guitar concert when I was 14, and my first meditation steps!

UPDATE:

I am moved by what I thought was important 5 years ago, now I will just encourage you to ask me, i realized that what I think is amazing can easily change.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play the guitar, chess, how to communicate in Greek and French and help you understand the true value of each moment. I can also give you some meditation tips. I'm willing to learn like anything and so on to share anything (except my food, for that you have to gain my trust first haha)
