About Me

Hello everyone,
I'm from Italy!
I am a person full of passions, and I have always been firm about following them.
When I finished high school I followed my passion for exploring the world and I traveled with my best friend around Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
I enjoy writing and letting know people around me what I think it's important, so I studied in Liverpool for a few months to get a qualification in journalism.
I am an advanced diver, and the ocean never ceases to amaze me. The sea is probably one of my biggest passion, and I am following it now by going to Australia and look for a marine-related job.
So for now I can define myself as an activist/ocean conservationist/environmentalist
But where these passions can lead me to, only the future can tell!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great option when you're travelling for so many reasons!
First of all you get to know different and interesting people, hear new stories, share experience and point of views.
And if you are new to the place, a local host can give you tips for getting around, and show you bits of the culture you're visiting.

Interests

I want to make a difference and give my contribute for the world, and the environment.
I love to meet inspiring people who are promoting great initiatives and doing something good for the planet, and for their community.
The environment that I am most passionate about is the ocean, and my wish is to do my best to preserve it and involve other people to care for it.

Apart being an environment conservationist, I am a food lover! I love GOOD, local, fresh and seasonal food. My favorite cuisine is italian, but I love trying foreigners one. I have loved every typical dish of every country I went to.
When i'm at home I love creating new vegetarian recipes and getting creative with food.
I also enjoy a lot making home-made stuff rather than buying the commercial one that comes in plastic and might contain too many additives. It's a real satisfaction, and it's much tastier and healthier!

I am a wine addicted, nothing better in life than chilling and chatting with a friend while enjoying a good glass of wine!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ocean by John Butler is the song of my life.

I enjoy many different kinds of music.
Artists that I like are The Beatles, Biffy Clyro, Jonathan Richman, Vinicio Capossela, Zucchero, Mina.

When I get nostalgic of home I love listening and singing out loud italian music. But don't worry, I won't do that with my host!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving! First time i was able to breath underwater it was an experience i will never forget! Love love love diving, being around the fish, swimming on top of super colourful corals, and realizing what an awesome world exists underwater!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of smiles, stories of travels, diving, italian lessons, and with the right ingredients cooking a good pasta!
