About Me

ABOUT ME

I just love learning: about the world, nature and people. Seeking beautiful views and interesting stories. Happy to be here :)

Work: researcher in marine biology (corals), passionate for data science and sharing knowledge

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have realized that travelling is awesome, but to do it for the travel's sake and nothing more seems a bit selfish to me. It leaves you breathless, but then, when you start breathing again, don't you wonder "what good can I do for these things, places and creatures that I love?". So after a year of wandering around Australia I couldn't stop thinking about starting a new adventure, but at the same time I had something left undone. So I started looking for a place where to study tropical biology and I came across this weird Erasmus Mundus Masters about tropical biology.
I spent two years changing home every six months through four different countries in two continents. I find living abroad extremely stimulating and enriching. I currently "settled down" in Germany where I work on my PhD on corals.
