Overview
About Me
I am Italian, from a small town in southern Italy called Aradeo, in the province of Lecce. In 2004 I moved to Beijing, China, where I still live. I moved to China for two reasons: the first is my passion for martial arts, the second is my interest in classical literature. Both are the fundamental pillars of my existence.
About my job, my research is focused on the unearthed pre-Qin manuscripts. Palaeography and Grammatology are some of the fundamental philological skills that I have acquired in these years, as well as the historical, archaeological, anthropological and philosophical skills that always accompany my research work. Furthermore, these skills allow me to work directly on primary source archaeological materials.
About my martial arts, I have been practising since I was a child. After I move to China, I was lucky enough to know a traditional master with a clear and sincere genealogical tree. After years of daily practice with him, he accepted me in the genealogy of this art as a disciple. Now, I travel a lot to meet those interested in learning about this rare martial art which is named from the only flower able to blossom during winter. I have a blog and a Facebook page that you could visit:
