ABOUT ME

I work in Fluid Dynamics and am about to begin work in solar cells. When I am not exploring how the world works at a mechanical and electrical level I am learning about how it works socially - I love to meet new people, see new places, and hear about different ideas and philosophies on life.

I also like to ground my body in the world - I climb, play basketball, and practice Chi Kung.

PHILOSOPHY

We are our perceptions (consciousness). The rest is the machinery.

Have a couch available, and have been hosted in three countries now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in Europe - this was my favorite way to travel.

I am interested in the root of consciousness - the space just before a thought is formed or emotion felt. I also am captivated by large spaces, silence, and perception.

A nice cup of tea with a good friend also can intimately hold my attention.

I have invented a new way to tie a figure eight knot (not so exciting but kind of cool). Message me if you want to know it.

I am a competent cook and am more than happy to share some knowledge (and learn more too). I am also happy to give lessons in mathematics and physics.

I like to practice my French (though it is quite bad).
