About Me
Currently PhDing at Warwick and trying to make the best of my time in the UK by exploring the music scene. Love music and cinema and I'm a beginner drummer, up for any kind of gig going or jamming!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first CS experience was in Berkeley, where I ended up renting the room of my host, Cat, who also happend to be a CS ambassador. As a consequence, we actually hosted a lot of CSurfers throughout the whole semester. It was great fun, and I later had a chance to host people back in my hometown.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Short of being a cinephile, I have a passion for movies and I have a knack for quotes. Some of my all time favourite: Seven Samurai, Tetsuo, Inherent Vice, Ghostbuster, Toy Story and many, many more!
Books:
On the shelf: The Age of Extremes, Adriano's memoir, Ineherent Vice
Somewhat recently read: "Men and no" on italian resistance against fascism in Italy, "A Man", biased bio of former greek revolutionary Alekos Panagulis.
I dabble with most music, I truly know little about each genre, byt I enjoy almost all of it though!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was at a hardcore concert in what is know as the most violent scene around, kept my distance and miraculously survived! Would do again!
Also, I once touched a dolphin in Sea World. It feels like rubber!
Teach, Learn, Share
Some maths, some cooks, some (many) obscure 90's movie referencess!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Delicious italian food appears where I walk.
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Switzerland
Countries I’ve Lived In
