About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Lead a happy life close to nature

I am currently living in Corvallis, Or, USA to study a Master's degree in Wood Science and Forestry- researching small woodlot suffiecincy.

My wife Jess and I only arrived in September and live in a rickety cottage by the river, a mile to Campus and downtown.

After graduating in 2009 I lived in Western Australia for almost two years. to join my partner Jess and experience Australian forests and lifestyle.

I spent the years before this major move in Germany, France the UK and Panama and intend to keep traveling. I have also been to Japan and intend to go again.

I AM A CHEERY,VERY ACTIVE, HONEST, RESOURCEFUL, WELL-DOMESTICATED,NON-SMOKING,PEOPLE PLEASING, MODEST KIND OF GUY

PHILOSOPHY

Tell everybody I'm on my way
And I'm loving every step I take!
with the sun beating down
YES, I'm on my way
And I can't keep this smile off my face!

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything containing explosions, dragons, wild nature, bawdy jokes and witty lyrics. if it makes me dance or cry in addition, that's perfect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not the same, having seen the moon rise on the other side of the world...

Climbing Karri trees in Australia and enjoying sunset in the crown with friends.
Walking on a swinging Quagmire and thinking i was going nuts when the ground some metres away (including a tree) started moving.
Arriving home after a 600km cycle trip all by myself in hail and rain

Teach, Learn, Share

Apart from forestry-things I can show you how I make most of what life throws at me.
I can't teach you to have a good time, but give me a shot...

What I Can Share with Hosts

A meal, a roof, a story and a laugh
