Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet cool hosts that can help me get around the city with a smile on their faces :) I want to feel their own city as someone that lives there for a while. Go to those hidden places that only they know and run away from tourist traps. And learn new things, everything I can collect from a special person in a special town.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is definetelly Radiohead, but I'm also great fan of Warpaint, Sigur Ros and most Funk music from the roots of New Orleans to the Blues from Chicago. And also Electronic music!
Movies, hum, that's tough, but I would say a top 3: Seven (Fincher), Mr. Nobody (Dormael) and Nocturnal Animals (Ford).
In terms of books, I admit I'm not a great reader, but I like very much Kafka's books, Orwell's "1984" (cliché...) and few portuguese writers like Fernando Pessoa, Valter Hugo Mãe and José Mário Branco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchiking alone from Romenia to Poland, 1200Km in 26 hours. That was really hard, but I was very happy I've done it on time to make a surprise :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic drums rythms and a bit about digital photograhy and videography as well as editing. And I love to learn new languages and cultures, to know other places, even if I can't go there...yet.
