About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Self-exploring through the prism of social contacts .

ABOUT ME

Confucius once said: "Beware of bad people, especially couchsurfers, but remember - Vicky Podonina is definitely a good one!" And there's no way one can not rely on that wise opinion !
If you think that this is a bad joke, then probably you'll do me a favour and help me improve my skill by letting me be your couchsurfer:)
My life is an adventure time, where I grab my friends and go to very distant lands .

PHILOSOPHY

My own. Personal. Philosophy.

1. All work and no play makes me a very dull girl .
2. A penny saved is a penny earned .
3. Accept who you are . Unless you are a serial killer .
4. When your life gives you melons, you might be dislexic .
5. If you are worried about criticism, sometimes a diet is the best defense .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately, none (still living w/ my parents makes it hard for people to stay in .

Interests

As multifunctional as a food processor .
Especially love traveling and being creative in almost any way possible . Deeply into people and things, amazed by places .

Gosh, so many !
Music - classical, classic rock, metal (almost all kinds of it), futurepop
Movies - comedy, horror, cartoons, series
Books - sci-fi, horror, novels, short stories, poetry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done: fed and hugged almost 100 husky dogs at once
Seen: White Nights, moveable bridges, the Hermitage and a bear when I was walking down the street while playing balalaika in a Soviet Army hat (perks of living in Saint-Petersburg)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about Russia (bears, balalaikas, matryoshka dolls and EVEN MORE), linguistic differences of languages, some psychology and medicine. Also know many random facts.
I want to learn about different aspects of countries I visit, cooking some local cuisine and playing unusual kinds of musical instruments.
I will share my love to life as it is and moments captured in Polaroid pics :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Russian Federation, Ukraine
