CURRENT MISSION My mission is simple: help us see the connections between all humans by being an ambassador of good will ABOUT ME I am a lover of the world in which I live. I truly wake up (almost) every morning believing that I live in a special place, and live a blessed life. I work as a middle school teacher, and also teach online college courses. I walk, hike, kayak, paddleboard, backpack, and any other outdoor activity I can think of. I enjoy making new friends and sharing my beautiful area with others. I'm not a super housekeeper, but also not a slob. It's just that I have so many things that seem more important than sparkling windows and spotless sills. I have one son. I also have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am not a loud person, or into wild parties. Depending on my work schedule, your goals in visiting, I can act as tour guide, or just a place to crash for the night. PHILOSOPHY I would like to be the change I wish to see in the world.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I am interested in hosting anyone who thinks they can stand to visit my home. I am friendly and polite, and happy to share my space for a few days at a time. I am especially happy to host PCT hikers who may be passing through. International travelers are another group I'd particularly like to host. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I have no couch surfing experience so far, except on the couches of friends.
