Music, Movies, and Books

While I continue to be on a Fly in Reserve, mid northern Manitoba, I'd like to make Winnipeg my place of Refuge for city life. for music, cultural diversity and meeting people with similar love for Cultural Expression and concerns. ie) I find the Human Rights Museum/ Pavilion of tremendous cultural refuge , built from MB rail steel and reflecting the Heritage of this Province. I'll be getting some Dental work done and planning to spend a few days at Assisippi Ski club.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've built Kayaks on reserve -- Ebamatong, ON, gambrel Roof sheds , furniture.
Hiked ,swam , climbed and built all around Kootenay Lake. My kids are settling out there, making Shaker brooms, Northern Woven Brooms. I've practiced Sufism and Buddhism in that Region in particular.
Currently making Stem jointed stools and furniture with White Diamond Willow , a local wood here on God's River. Setting up for sculpting and more conventional storage organizing shelves. Next year preparing for a band saw Mill and Log House building.-- opening the metal shop.

Teach, Learn, Share

Any thing to do with green houses in the North. Farming practices , Like back to Your Roots to bring back major gran production to more integrated natural processes.
Spent many years painting and Drawing ( trained as a Waldorf teacher with Franklin Kane in Edmonton. Taught the grade five ,six class in London ON. This has been part of my inspiration for the qualities in teaching and the products themselves. Taught at the London Waldorf school in 1989 before going back into Industrial Arts and Broad based Building Construction.
