Hi there! I’m Gosia and I’m currently traveling in the SE Asia with my partner Pawel. We lived in the UK for nearly 20 years and are originally from Poland, we both work professionally but whenever we can, we travel - and since July 2024 we’ve taken a longer break and been traveling. Firstly we cycled from London to Poland (on pushbikes, no batteries!), it took us 2 weeks and now we’re in beautiful Thailand.

We love the outdoors and are into cycling, hiking and kitesurfing but also walks when time is limited. We both are foodies and enjoy good food and wine, eating out but also cooking and baking; we care about the environment and are into healthy lifestyle. What else, we’re easy going and positive, tidy and organised and respectful, and there is way more to say but I’ll leave it at that!

We’re traveling in SE Asia now so can’t host in the UK and will be gone from here for 12 months. We can host you in Bydgoszcz Poland in the meantime (we can set you up in our place in the city centre of Bydgoszcz and get our folks to look after you) so let us know if you’re planning to visit Bydgoszcz.

We have always been hosting people in our flat and we had 100s guests since we lived in London, some were our folks, some were friends of friends and some were random people who needed to stay somewhere, so we know the drill!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Recently cycled from London to Poland on pushbikes - no batteries! Did an average of over 100km a day and it took us just over 2 weeks to cycle.
Also travelled in Covid as we started a round-the-world trip in Jan’20 but got stuck in Australia mid March’20… we had to change plans and think on our feet plus opt for random locations but it was still wonderful as navigating between lockdowns led us to some fab places and effectively we’ve travelled until May’21.

I love baking and can have several foolproof recipes for amazing cakes - including best ever carrot cake, choc raspberry brownie, orange cake and choc mouse (not a cake but amazing!!!) my background is in teaching and employment support so can help to edit a brilliant CV too or prepare for a job interview as this is something I’ve done for years as a job.

Pawel is brilliant with bikes and also has huge knowledge on cars, motorbikes and generally anything with wheels - he’s a true petrolhead.

Happy to fit in and hang out but also let you get on and organise ourselves. We love sharing stories from our trips and love to hear yours and exchange travel tips! We can cook and bake well and happy to make cakes or a nice dinner. If your bike needs fixing Pawel can help with it.
