Hi I'm Goksu.I'm from Turkey . I am a Molecular Biology and Genetic student in Istanbul Technical University.After my first attempt to study Electrical Engineering and realization that it is not quite the best for me, I have changed my branch and it was probably one of the best decisions that I’ve made ahahah.I love to learn about the unseen world surrounding us. I like camping a lot, feeling of the unite with nature is amazing and peaceful .I would like to draw, sculpt and make my own stuffs like earnings , necklaces, brooch and buttons.I like the harmony between my body and music that's why I'm taking Lindy Hop course . Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I like to hear different stories, meet new people from all over the world while I'm traveling. Besides , I'm a student and ı am trying to travel with lowest cost and highest adventure :) I hope we will meet soon.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite lists changes depends on my current mood actually but let me mix them a little bit and write down to give an idea: My favorite books are Cehenneme Övgü (Prisoners of Ourselves) by Gündüz Vassaf and Listen Little Man by Wilhelm Reich. My other favorite books includes some of utopic and distopic novels like 1984, Animal Farm, Brave New World, some of art books such as Umberto Arte ile Sanat , John Berger's Ways of Seeing and The Shape of a Pocket , Uygarlığın Ayak İzleri, Çoğul Estetik, and sociology book of Gustave Le Bonn The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind. I write movies that I lately watched rather than favorites cause I cannot remember their names :)(I like watching from MUBI) I'm thinking of ending things <3 Almost all of the Hayao Miyazaki movies Undine- Christian Petzold Envy-Zeki Demirkubuz Nuri Bilge Ceylan- Kış Uykusu, Bir Zamanlar Anadolu'da, Ahlat Ağacı, Kuru Otlar Üstüne Shrek Series (again and again) Swallow - Carla Mirabella-Davis Goodbye Lennin-Wolfgang Becker Gibi is my favorite turkish series Office and The Big Bang Theory are also one of my favorites My music list is a total mess so I couldn't pick one of the 700 song,I'm sure at least one of them is common between you and me :))
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Scuba diving with my friends in Antalya. Antalya's beauty is amazing on it's own but with different perspective such as underwater it's incredible:)) 3 weeks of hitchiking tour in europe. Maybe it is not that long for many people but it was for me in winter ahahah:) I lived in Amsterdam for 3 months in summer, it was crazy over all.
