Overview
About Me
I'm an operational research analyst (the logic behind decision-making) in the Civil Service, working by the sea in Hastings. Outside the day job, I'm into music, adventuring and vegan food. I'm laid back, easy to hang out with and like meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to have real experiences meeting down-to-earth, interesting people. I have some travel plans lined up, but also some spare space in my flat, so I'd like to take advantage of both by meeting locals on my travels, and by hosting travellers passing by the South Coast of England.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: contemporary jazz e.g. Jaga Jazzist (Norway)
Movies: physcological thrillers e.g Hard Candy
Books: anything moving e.g. On Chesil Beach (Ian McEwan)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled solo from London (UK) to Uppsala (Sweden), following the sun and sleeping in the woods.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to learn by doing things, most of the lessons I've learnt were by getting my hands dirty, making mistakes and making the best of them. So I like to throw myself in at the deep end, see what happens and pick things up along the way. If other people can share my experiences and learn together, that's even better ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm easy going and happy to just hang out for a friendly chat. I've also got some stories to share, and I like to ask questions and learn about peoples' experiences
