Out going, easy to get on with, like to have a laugh, like travelling and trying new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is waaaaayyyyyy to short , so make your mind up no matter how hard the decision and stick to it.
It maybe hard in the short term but right in the long term but you'll never know unless you take that leap.

Never say no - always be open to trying new experiences even if you're really scared - you might find you've just found something new you love.

The finally and most important one for me - you'll never know if you don't ask.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Originally from Nottingham I'm now living in Nizwa which is a town located on the coast in Oman.

I decided after travelling on my own and a diving holiday in Egypt earlier this year that I wanted to give living abroad another try as I was living in Greece for awhile.

After much research (well a bit) Oman seemed the perfect place, always hot and sunny, lots to see and do, diving, secluded beaches and loads of naturally beautiful places to see. So I applied, got a job, got myself on plane and I've not looked back since.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the pleasure of staying on a few people's couches / spare beds here in Oman.

I can host two people (possibly three) as I have a spare room with twin beds. Anyone wishing to stay with me MUST like cats as I have a very lively kitten who has a play section in the spare room. The kitten can be locked out of the spare room at night but will have access in the day. There are also rules about the apartment and the kitten that MUST be adhered to. Other than that it pretty much easy going.

Where I live is about 15/20 minutes from Nizwa centre but very near the Nizwa - Muscat road. There is also easy access through the mountains to the local tourist attractions such as the mountains, wadi's, old villages and the cave and you can get taxi's (or a lift) reasonably easy from outside the apartment block into Nizwa and onto Muscat.

Intereses

Music, photography, art & crafts, nights out, cinema, sport, planning events, travelling, diving and up for trying other activities as and when I get the opportunity.

Música, películas y libros

Very different as based on what I like as and when so always find having to list music and books I like hard. One because I've read that many books I forget what I've read and two my collection of music goes from Indie - dance - pop - traditional - hiphop and everything in between. Only music I can't do it really heavy metal

Algo increíble que he hecho

Watching sunrise at the top of Mount Sanai and completed my Advanced Open Water whilst holidaying in Dahab earlier this year.

Did my first dive in Oman, been to the amazing Wadi Shab, up Jabel Shams (highest mountain which is stunning)and a few other places.

I plan to explore Oman as much as possible whilst I have the pleasure of living here.
