Music, Movies, and Books

Latin music, of course, is my favorite.
From the wondrous chilean singer-songwriter Violeta Parra and the ecuadorian Julio Jaramillo, to the argentine Atahualpa Yupanqui and mexicans Café Tacuba and Oscar Chávez.
Almost all of them use(d) their folklore and their songs as a way to create social awareness in their countries and the continent.

José Saramago is my favorite writer, along with Elena Poniatowska and Pablo Neruda. You must name them in any request you send to me.

As for movies...well, I plead illiteracy since in general Im fan of cheesy, hollywood, uncredible horror films.

Apart from that, my favorite decent movie is "El secreto de sus ojos" (The secret in their eyes).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I´ve ever done was going to El Cañón del Sumidero in Chiapas, México. You feel how time stops so you can enjoy it forever.
