About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I and my fiance, Lora, are going to Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Barcelona Spain, and we are trying to do it as cheap as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
(Grant)i'm an opptomistic-realist. I see things the way they really are and make the absolute most of them. People change, often for the better. That means the world can change for the better too :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am brand new. I want to be a surfer first because I do not have a house. I know people, like my uncle, who hosts international students at his house. The experiences that I have heard from him and the students has all been wonderful. I broaden my knowledge and experience of the world, as well as share my own blessed life with others.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are brand new, and a little sceptical/unsure of how well CS works, but we're opptimistic about the world-cummunity of people that it creates.

Music, Movies, and Books
(Grant) I love Jazz Piano! My favorites are Bill Evans and Oscar Peterson. Very different in style, I know. But their music is just so rich!
I also play french horn. I love classical music. the Horn is probably the most gorgeous sounding instrument in the world.
(Lora) Anne of Green Gables, Little House on the Prarie, and Spider Man!
Teach, Learn, Share
(Grant)I am learning Spainish. I have taken Spainish classes since I was 5. But i'm still not fluent. I've never had the chance to make it to a Spanish (castillano) speaking contry. But who knows, maybe CS will help me out with that.
(Lora) I teach music to kids, both piano and violin. I try to pick up on languages, especially German, but Grant has gotten me interested in Spanish now too.
